After its lengthy chapter 'Chapter One' release on PC and Nintendo Switch, Toby Fox has confirmed on his official website page that he has made 'significant updates' regarding the release of Chapter Two of Deltarune. As Fox, who is also behind the wildly popular indie gameUndertale, does not have a definite release date for the new chapter, he confirms that it's about '80%' finished and moving faster than the development by Chapter One. As of now, he believes that the playable version should be ready by the end of 2021. This, however, isn't taking into account translation, bug-testing, and porting. Fox has, however, released screenshots of his progress of the game on the official website to get fans excited.

There's currently no information on the official Deltarune Chapter 2 release date. However, signs have been encouraging. Back in November 2018, Toby Fox answered fan questions via a TwitLonger. In his responses, he clarified that he isn't sure when the game will be complete. As Deltarune updates on a chapter by chapter basis unlike its predecessor Undertale, Fox also confirmed to fans that Chapter Two will not be the last chapter to the game and that he has a general outline of all the general events that will happen in each chapter. At the same time, Fox also revealed that most of the time taken for the game development went towards him trying to find a new engine for the game, but said he ultimately decided to settle back on using Game Maker (which is the same engine he used to make Undertale). He did not give a definite number of chapters for the game, but as seen in his Status Update for September 2020, there is a section labeled 'Progress chapter 3+' (which can be reached by scrolling down the update page).
Under the 'Progress Chapter 3+', there looks to be enough material for at least six chapters in total, and under the 'Map Design', there is a confirmation that completion of the map 'varies per chapter, earlier chapters totally completed'. Clicking on the newly updated FAQ page for Deltarune will also show fans thatthe game will only have one ending compared to Undertale's famous three endings. It's been almost 2 years since the release of the first chapter of Undertales Sequel. And I know most of you are wondering how the rest is developing. Well, we now know all thanks to the creator Fox that Deltarune's Chapter 2 is set to be finished before 2020 ends. That's saying something for the progress. Keep in mind that Deltarune's Chapter 2 was more complex to design because it has more complicated systems and graphics. Add to that the creator Toby Fox has been experiencing Wrist Pains. So all this considered the progress is more than good.
Despite all these reasons and delays, the good news is that Fox has completed a Readable Outline for all the chapters in the game. As well as pass dialogues and music examples for every cut scene in the game have also been completed. Now that Deltarune's Chapter 2 will be completed by end of the year it can act as a base for further sequels. https://vhzo.over-blog.com/2021/01/app-delete.html.
Unlike Undertales, Deltarune will be released in chapters and since the release of Undertales Toby and his team have been working on the next installment. And in a recent blog post, Fox had detailed the progress he had made.
Since March 2019 work on Deltarune's Chapter 2 was initiated but for most of this time, the work was being done on different engines and not Game Maker. But after a lot of work Fox decided to go back to Game Makers. https://asucpurloa1985.wixsite.com/freesteam/post/3d-mechanical-modeling-software-free. So the formal production had really picked up around this May.
Content-wise the work on Deltarune's Chapter 2 is done. As for what is beyond Chapter 2 Fox has also said that a readable outline and music for all the chapters in the game are done. He has even made amazing progress in Chapter 3 too. But despite having planned so many things and worked on the outline Fox believes that what he thinks at the last minute matters most.
So he hasn't committed to any release dates. Though he assured that Deltarune's Chapter 2 will be done at the end of 2020. We are not quite sure when it will actually release. Perhaps sometime in 2021, that's not a far stretch. Meanwhile, you can enjoy Deltarune's Chapter 1 on your PC, Switch, or PS4.

Once a combat sequence was initiated the battle was set up like Final Fantasy one. That is a turn-based combat sequence where the player chooses the actions of the characters. Then the monsters have a chance to attack in return. The original game had a feature referred to as bullet hell which was the main focus of combat.
However, Deltarun chapter 2 has made some changes in the gameplay. At least that is what has been revealed in the development updates. Playstation network customer service number. First, the bullet hell event has been removed though some of the elements of it are going to be implement. Additionally, the other major change that has been confirmed is the removal of random encounters. Instead, players will be able to see monsters on the world map. This means that if Deltarun chapter 2 has an achievement for no combat it's easier to get.

Surprisingly, even though Deltarun chapter 2 has not yet been released some fans are asking will there be more chapters. Specifically, will there be a chapter 3 or more after the end of the current game. the answer this question is yes. While nothing is 100% set stone has been confirmed that the developers are planning least three chapters. The biggest question on Deltarun chapter 2 fans minds is when will the game will be available. Unfortunately, no official release date has been made available to the public. The numerous updates about the progress of the game have shown promising results. That is to say, the producers have stated that the game be develops quickly. In fact, it appears to be taking less time than the original game took to produce. Additionally, the producers have stated that they would like the game to be available by the end of 2020.
However, that update was some time ago and has not yet been confirmed as a hard fact. Additionally, the developers also stated that the estimation of a given did not take into account final editing. It didn't take into account the amount time it might take debugging certain parts of the code or reworking dialogue. This means that the game may not release when the developers are hoping it will be. So the game could be available by the end of December or sometime in 2021. As with all things until the developers actually reveal the distribution date anyone's guess is good. People who wish to play Deltarun chapter 2 will be able to play it PC, Nintendo switch, and PS five. Of course that is assuming that the game will be available in the next year or so.
What did you think about Deltarune's Chapter 1? Are you ready for Chapter 2? Comment Below.
This year in 2020 marks the five year anniversary for Tobyfox's Undertale. And while the first entry from the self-named developer is not on his plate anymore with the more ambitious Deltarune now underway, there is still plenty to reflect on the first project leading to the upcoming Chapter Two for new title. One being that development for the new game is more complex than Undertale and requiring more hands to be in the pot.
Howbeit, in a new blog post made by Tobyfox himself, he tells that he has taken the position of story writer, composer, audio director, map designer, battle designer, minigame designer, and director cumulatively since beginning development for Deltarune. He discloses that with the first chapter for the new title to be a basis for future entries to make up the full experience, he adventured to break out of GameMaker for a new engine.
But after trial and error, he concluded that Chapter 2 will be utilizing the proprietary engine of the initial projects now. With development starting in May 2020, Tobyfox shares to be confident for a late 2020 release of Chapter 2 for Deltarune. 'A lot of progress has been made since that time. Picsart phone number. I believe we can complete this chapter, content-wise, before the end of the year,' he tells in the post. But the timeframe mentioned is premature to much needed polishing and porting for Chapter 2.
And while the game is still due to release fairly soon, it is expected that the second part fir Deltarune will fully arrive sometime in early 2021 if development goes as planned. In that, Tobyfox also offered new screenshots for the game which you can view below:
Despite the minor setback for Tobyfox and the team behind Deltarune currently, he believes the time used learning more about the project and its full circle return to GameMaker was fulfilling. Even more, Tobyfox went to tell that more ideas and concepts for Deltarune when developing these past few months has also sprouted new ideas as to what can be found in the game with new entries underway.
Tobyfox goes on to share that Phase One (core design & dialogue) is finished and that the second phase of development is still being grinded out currently. Elements such as music, art, combat mechanics, and cutscenes are roughly halfway finished. He also goes as far to disclose that Phase One for Chapter 3 of Deltarune is near completion as well.
All in all, Tobyfox illustrates development as of late and the progress made is confident on his end. It was November of 2018 that he told that development could be facing a strenuous gap in tow for Chapter 2, but that looks to be less of problem after returning to GameMaker.
